Samsung unveiled a special version of the Galaxy A55 with an extra security chip
Samsung has announced the Galaxy Quantum 5 smartphone.
Here's What We Know
The novelty is a special version of the Galaxy A55. The main feature of the device is the presence of a security chip ID Quantique (IDQ) with quantum encryption. Such a chip generates random codes by registering noise from the LED and CMOS sensor, which significantly increases the reliability of passwords and the level of data protection in the smartphone.
As for other specifications of the novelty, they are the same as those of the Galaxy A55. The gadget comes with a 6.6-inch screen at 120Hz, Exynos 1480 processor, 5000 mAh battery, 25W charging, IP67 protection and a 50 MP + 12 MP + 5 MP camera.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Samsung has already started selling the Galaxy Quantum 5, but only in South Korea. The smartphone costs $465 and is available in three colours, Awesome Ice Blue, Awesome Lilac and Awesome Navy.
