The Slovak state-owned company Konstrukta Defence has tested the EVA M2 self-propelled artillery system.

Here's What We Know

The EVA M2 6×6 successfully passed the driving tests, in particular, demonstrated the ability to overcome trenches, move on slopes and hilly terrain.

The company also announced the completion of the first firing tests, which were aimed at checking the reliability and stability of the chassis of the vehicle during firing. However, there are no further details on the M2's characteristics.

The EVA M2 has a chassis based on the Tatra with a front-mounted engine. The vehicle's cab is armoured. There is also a central tyre inflation and deflation system to allow the vehicle to move in a given terrain in the best possible way.

The upgraded EVA M2 has a high level of automation: the mechanisms have been updated, and the vehicle has fast data transmission to the command, which ensures quick communication with other units.
