In February 2024, the independent American studio Fun Dog, founded by former employees of BioWare, id Software and Guerrilla Game, presented its debut project, which was an ambitious cooperative shooter with elements of horror The Forever Winter.

Finally, the experienced game designers revealed the date of the game's release in Early Access.

Here's What We Know

The Forever Winter will be released in Steam Early Access on the 24th of September.

Initially, the game's content will be limited to four maps, but a fifth is already in the works and will appear in the game in the foreseeable future. Gamers will be offered a wide range of weapons and five unique characters.

The developers presented a lengthy trailer, which allows you to appreciate the unusual style and gloomy atmosphere of the game.

The Forever Winter is a dystopian game about the world of the distant future, where Artificial Intelligence and huge robots rule the Earth, and the planet is covered by ecological disasters.

One of the main features of the game from the creators of Mass Effect, Doom and Horizon: Zero Dawn will be the advanced AI of the enemies, thanks to which they will act intelligently, coherently and pose a huge threat to the players.

The Forever Winter will cost $27 in Early Access.
