TikTok's new Manage Topics feature allows users to fully control recommendations in the feed

TikTok has launched a new feature called Manage Themes, which allows users to fully customise the themes in the For You feed.

With this option, you can tailor content recommendations to see more or less content on specific topics. The feature was initially launched in the US, but will soon be available in other countries.

How To Switch It On

In order to set up themes, users need to go to the settings, select the Content Settings option, and then Manage Themes. Using a special slider, you can determine how much content on certain topics will appear in the feed.

The feature does not affect content from accounts that users follow. It may take time for TikTok to personalise the feed based on the new settings.
