Infinix unveils Zero 40: new 4G and 5G smartphones with curved AMOLED displays and powerful cameras

Infinix has announced a new series of Zero 40 smartphones, introducing the Zero 40 4G and Zero 40 5G models. Both phones have curved AMOLED displays with FHD+ resolution and peak brightness of up to 1300 nits.

Here's What We Know

Zero 40 4G has a panel with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, while Zero 40 5G has a 144 Hz display. Both variants have a 108MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The Zero 40 5G supports video recording up to 4K at 60 frames per second, while the Zero 40 supports up to 2K at 30 frames per second.

The Zero 40 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, while the Zero 40 uses the Helio G100.

Both phones get XOS 14.5 based on Android 14, 3 years of security patches and two Android version updates.

The Zero 40 5G also supports wireless charging up to 20W and reverse charging up to 10W.

Sales will start on 8 September in Malaysia: Zero 40 4G from US$279, Zero 40 5G from US$395.
