Xiaomi announces MIX Flip 2: A new foldable smartphone will appear in 2025

Despite the recent launch of the MIX Flip, Xiaomi is already working on its successor, the Xiaomi MIX Flip 2.

Information about the new foldable smartphone appeared in the GSMA IMEI database, where two model numbers were found: "2505APX7BC" for the Chinese version and "2505APX7BG" for the global one. This indicates that the MIX Flip 2 is expected to hit the market in July 2025.

The model number "2505" in the numbers indicates a May 2025 date, although the MIX Flip has the number "2405" and was released in July 2024. So far, little is known about the technical characteristics of the new product, but it is already clear that Xiaomi is planning a global release of this device.

In addition to the MIX Flip 2, Xiaomi is also preparing the Xiaomi 15 series, which will include several models, and is also testing a buttonless smartphone called zhuque.
