Larian Studios has announced that the next major update for the mega-popular RPG Baldur's Gate III will be released next week.

Here's What We Know

Important! The major update will be available only on PC for now.

The developers are still working on the patch for console versions and will name the date of its release a little later.

Recall that in the seventh patch the developers promise to improve almost all elements of Baldur's Gate III: the game will fix more than a thousand bugs, eliminate minor flaws, add additional staged scenes for some characters and an additional "evil" ending. But the main innovation will be a full-fledged editor of custom modifications, thanks to which players will be able to create entire stories on their own.

At the PAX West 2024 event Larian Studios representatives said that they are working on several more updates for Baldur's Gate 3, but they are not ready to talk about them yet.
