Representatives of Deck Nine Studios attended the PAX West 2024 conference, where they held an interactive panel dedicated to the game Life is Strange: Double Exposure.

Here's What We Know

The developers told about the plot and characters of the new part of the popular series of dramatic adventure games Life is Strange. Viewers were shown a few scenes from the middle of the second episode of Double Exposure, where the main character Max Caulfield and her astrophysicist friend Moses Murphy are trying to find out who killed their mutual friend Safiya Llewellyn-Fayyad.

Viewers can also see a system of selecting lines in dialogue, the use of an in-game smartphone to perform certain actions and the use of supernatural abilities of Max, who can no longer travel through time, but instead is able to move between alternate versions of reality and influence the course of events in them.

When We Can Expect It

Life is Strange: Double Exposure will be released on 29 October 2024 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game will later be ported to Nintendo Switch as well.
