A few days ago, Ubisoft's action game Star Wars Outlaws was released.

A few days before the release critics shared their opinion about the game and in general they were reserved and favourable without sharp negativity. But gamers turned out to be more critical of Star Wars Outlaws.

Here's What We Know

Since Star Wars Outlaws is not yet available on Steam, gamers leave their reviews on Metacritic and they let us understand that not everyone liked the first game in the cult franchise with a full-fledged open world.

In the most negative comments, gamers point out that Outlaws has outdated mechanics, a boring plot, uninteresting gameplay and an overreach with the desire to please all categories of gamers. In Star Wars Outlaws there are a lot of bugs, frankly bad animation, especially facial animation, and there is no stated freedom of action, because of which most of the tasks must be passed exclusively in the way the developers intended.

But not all gamers are so categorical, there are opinions that Star Wars Outlaws is not a bad game, which is far from ideal and does not claim to be a masterpiece, but it can entertain and give pleasant emotions. But even those who liked Outlaws think that the game is still better to buy on sale and only after the developer fixes all the bugs.

In general, on Metacritic the game received the following scores from users:

  • PS5 version 51% negative reviews and 42% positive;
  • PC version: 57% negative and 38% positive reviews;
  • Xbox version: 42% negative reviews and 48% positive.
