European Pixel users can now measure their body temperature using the Pixel Thermometer app

Google is expanding the body temperature measurement feature in its Pixel Thermometer app to European countries.

Here's What We Know

Previously, the feature was only available in the US, but it will now be coming to several countries in Europe, including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.

The support applies to Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL devices. To use the feature, users need to have an active SIM or eSIM issued by a carrier from one of the supported countries. The app supports multiple languages including Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish and Swedish.

Users can measure temperature by moving the phone from forehead to temple and save the results on the "Recent Results" page for seven days and then in their Fitbit account.
