Ahead of the official launch of the Galaxy S24 FE in September, new details about its charging have emerged. The UAE regulatory authorities and UL Demko certification platform have confirmed that the Galaxy S24 FE will be available in Wi-Fi and 5G versions. In addition, the new smartphone was also spotted on the TDRA and TUV Rheinland certification platforms.

Here's What We Know

The TUV certification reveals that the Galaxy S24 FE will support 25W charging, just like its predecessor. In addition, the phone will support 9W wireless charging, which is less than the Galaxy S23 FE, which had 15W wireless charging support.

The certification also confirms the availability of seven Galaxy S24 FE models: SM-S721B/DS, SM-S721B, SM-S721N, SM-S721Q, SM-S721U, SM-S721W and SM-S7210. It is believed that these models will differ by market, with the SM-S721B being the global version and the SM-S721U being the US version.

According to the TDRA certification, the SM-S721B/DS model supports dual SIM cards. The global version of the SM-S721B has also been approved by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), confirming support for Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G, LTE and GSM. The phone measures 162 mm by 77.3 mm.

The Galaxy S24 FE will be powered by a lowered version of the Exynos 2400 chip, which is also used in the Galaxy S24 and S24+.

The new phone is expected to be unveiled from September to early October. Visually, the new handset may resemble its predecessor, particularly in terms of the back design and camera module, which were spotted in the images.
