You will not be able to play as the Dark Knight: James Gunn says there's no truth to rumours of a Batman game in Matt Reeves' universe

We wrote that a Batman game set in the Matt Reeves universe was rumoured to be in development. However, it was most likely a fake.

Here's What We Know

One of the fans asked James Gunn, the head of DC Studios, in the Threads if this news was true.

James answered very briefly:

Unfortunately, there is no truth to this.

However, fans of Reeves' Batman will be able to enjoy new content in this universe in September, as the Penguin series will premiere on 19 September .

It is worth reminding that we will be able to watch Pattinson's Batman only in autumn 2026, when the second film will premiere (if it is not postponed again).
