Toadman Interactive is forced to close its offices in Sweden and Norway: it helped develop Helldivers 2
Toadman Interactive, the studio that created Immortal Unchained and helped develop high-profile projects such as Helldivers 2, Dead Island 2, Killing Floor Calamity, and Warhammer: End times-Vermintide, has been forced to make major redundancies.
Here's What We Know
The company is laying off some of its staff and closing its offices in Stockholm, Visby, and Oslo.
Like many other game companies, we have been through a difficult period over the past 12 months, and unfortunately this means that we are closing our offices in Stockholm, Visby and Oslo, as well as reducing some positions in our Berlin studio. If you are looking for employees in the games industry, please contact us and we will be happy to introduce you to our talented staff.
Toadman is owned by Enad Global 7 and according to EG7's report for the quarter ended June 2024, the company is currently implementing a "cost saving plan" that will result in Toadman undergoing a number of major "adjustments".
In June, Toadman employed 111 people. It is not known how many people were laid off.
