Microsoft prevents the release of action-RPG Enotria: The Last Song on Xbox Series: the head of the Italian studio spoke about the illogical behaviour of the American corporation
The release of unusual action-RPG Enotria: The Last Song from Italian studio Jyamma Games will take place very soon.
Initially the game was planned to be released on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, but a few months ago the developers reported that the users of American consoles will have to wait indefinitely.
Here's What We Know
Unfortunately, the situation with the release of Enotria: The Last Song on Xbox Series has not been resolved and the developers published a message, in which they honestly admitted that they can't say when the game will be available on these consoles.
Gamers immediately assumed that this decision is due to the technical limitations of the weak console Series S, with which many developers have problems, but it turned out that it's not about technology.
Journalist Tom Henderson talked to Jacky Greco, the director of Jyamma Games, and he said that Microsoft not only does not promote the release of Enotria on Xbox, but also completely ignores developers' appeals, does not respond to their written requests and does not even allow to create a page for the game in the Microsoft shop. Moreover, Giacomo Greco claims that the Xbox version of Enotria: The Last Song is fully ready and only formal certification is needed, but even this the corporation does not do.
While Sony helps in every possible way to port the game to PS5 - Microsoft as if specifically opposes it, and all this situation leads to huge financial losses of the small studio.
We sincerely wish Jyamma Games success and a successful release of Enotria: The Last Song on PC and PlayStation 5, which will take place on the 19th of September.
