A new leak of details regarding the Xiaomi 15 Ultra points to significant camera improvements expected in Xiaomi's next flagship smartphone.

It is known that Xiaomi's next flagship will feature an improved main camera that will be better than the previous LYT-900 sensor on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. According to leaks, the new sensor may be larger than the 1-inch IMX989 on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, making Xiaomi 15 Ultra potentially the first smartphone with the largest CMOS sensor on the market.

The main feature will be a powerful 200-megapixel telephoto camera with 4.4x zoom and 10x lossless zoom, which will outperform previous models.

In addition, Xiaomi 15 Ultra may feature new selfie hardware, 4K cinematic video, and improved slow motion.

The official announcement is expected in the first quarter of 2025.
