Google Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold have received their first software update

Google, weeks after the release of the Pixel 9 line of smartphones, has released the first system update for the devices.

Here's What We Know

The firmware has been given the build number AD1A.240905.004 and it is already being rolled out in waves to the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. You can check for the OTA in the gadget's settings.

The update addresses security vulnerabilities. Google has also improved Wi-Fi stability and performance "under certain conditions" and worked on minor bugs in the system.
