Google has unveiled new features for the Android operating system.

Here's What We Know

We are talking about four features for smartphones and one for smartwatches. The first innovation is related to TalkBack. The Android screen reader will now use Gemini models so you can hear detailed audio descriptions of images.

Next up is the improved Circle to Search feature, which we've covered many times before. It can now detect what song is playing near you or on your phone.

The third innovation has to do with Google Chrome's page reading feature. Users can choose the listening speed, like podcasts, as well as voice type and language.

Google has also added support for Android Earthquake Alerts System for all states in the US and the ability to use offline Google Maps on WearOS smartwatches.

When We Can Expect It

All the above-mentioned innovations will appear to users gradually. The features will not only be available to Google Pixel owners.
