The Minecraft creator has revealed the first gameplay footage of his new retro game Levers and Chests
The creator of the super-popular sandbox Minecraft Markus Persson has published a small gameplay video of his new game, which will be called Levers and Chests.
Here's What We Know
Levers and Chests is an old-fashioned role-playing game with roguelike elements, similar to those that were popular in the mid-90s.
The player controls a group of four first-person view characters and makes his way through gloomy labyrinths filled with enemies.
Markus Persson has shown the abilities of warlocks who can slow down and speed up the passage of time, and bases their tactics on this.
He is creating the game in his own studio Bitshift Entertainmen, which he founded in April, and judging by his commentary, the work is going fun, as Markus asked not to pay attention to the rotation of character portraits in the right corner of the screen - he added this option after smoking "weed", which he consumed without taking his eyes off the monitor.
The release date of Levers and Chests is unknown, apparently it all depends on the quantity and quality of the weed.
