Google's Gemini Live gets ten new voices for Gemini Advance subscribers
Google is continuing to develop its Gemini AI conversational chatbot by expanding the capabilities for Gemini Advance subscribers. The Gemini Live version, which is now available for mobile devices, features ten new voices that allow users to customise the assistant's voice to their preferences.
Here's What We Know
This update allows you to manage conversations with the assistant using only your voice, and also provides adaptation to the user's communication style.
Gemini Live is not currently available on the web version of Gemini, Google Messages, or the Google iOS app. The update is only available in English and only for personal Google accounts. In addition, Gemini Live is not compatible with the new Google Gems features.
Gemini Live adapts to the style of conversation and provides users with relevant information based on known topics of interest. Gemini Live can also run in the background or on the lock screen.
To use Gemini Live, you need to have the Gemini mobile app on your Android device. Google plans to add new integrations, such as OpenStax for educational textbooks and other extensions to support Keep, Tasks, and Google Calendar.
More details can be found on the official Google page.
