Bluetooth is introducing its new version, Bluetooth Core Specification 6.0, which adds a number of improvements to wireless communications.

Here's What We Know

One of the main innovations is Bluetooth Channel Sounding, which allows you to accurately measure the distance between devices using Phase-Based Ranging (PBR) and Round-Trip Timing (RTT). This provides greater accuracy than traditional methods.

Decision-Based Ad Filtering (DBAF) makes device scanning more efficient. Devices can now process only important signals, which reduces energy consumption.

Improvements in ISOAL (isochronous adaptation) reduce delays in audio streaming, making communication more stable and smooth.

Bluetooth 6.0 extends the link layer features, enabling devices to better support the more complex capabilities of Bluetooth LE and improve communication efficiency.

Updated frame rate helps to better manage connections, improving overall performance.

Bluetooth 6.0 also promises regular updates to improve its capabilities.
