Acer Swift 16 to debut at IFA 2024: laptop with 3K OLED touchscreen and Intel Lunar Lake processors from €1299
At IFA 2024, Acer has unveiled the new Swift 16 laptop, featuring a 3K OLED touchscreen panel and the latest Intel Lunar Lake processors. The novelty is available in configurations up to Intel Core Ultra 9 288V, with up to 32 GB of RAM and a 75 Wh battery.

The new generation of Swift
Until now, the Acer Swift range has only included 14-inch laptops, but the Swift 16 is the first member of the new line with a 16-inch screen. It is powered by Intel Lunar Lake Core Ultra Series 2 processors with options ranging from Core Ultra 5 226V to Core Ultra 9 288V. The laptop also has an Intel Arc Xe 2 graphics card.
Specifications and features
The Swift 16 is available with a 3K OLED or IPS display with stylus support. The maximum configuration includes up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8448 RAM and up to 2 TB of PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD. The laptop also features Windows Hello-compatible IR face recognition, a user proximity sensor, and Intel and Microsoft Pluton security.
For wireless connectivity, the Swift 16 supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. It has two USB4 Type-C ports, two USB Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 output, and a combo audio jack. The laptop weighs just 1.5kg and is powered by a 75Wh battery.
Pricing and availability
The Acer Swift 16 AI SF16-51/T will be available in North America in October for a price of USD 1199.99, and in Europe in December for a price of €1299.
