Samsung introduces 15-inch Galaxy Book 4 Edge with Snapdragon X Plus chip
Samsung has announced the release of the new 15-inch Galaxy Book 4 Edge. The novelty has a 15.6-inch display that fills the niche between the 14-inch and 16-inch models.
Technical Characteristics
What are the changes in the new model
The new Galaxy Book 4 Edge is powered by the Snapdragon X Plus processor, which is slightly inferior in power to the Snapdragon X Elite chipset used in the 14-inch and 16-inch versions. Also, the display of the new model has a refresh rate of 60 Hz, not 120 Hz, as in other models. Additionally, the new laptop uses an LCD panel instead of an AMOLED display.
Another change is the number of speakers: the 15-inch model has two, while other versions have four. The new laptop also lacks a fingerprint scanner, which is present in other models.
The laptop uses the Snapdragon X Plus chipset with an 8-core processor. The display of the novelty is probably LCD due to the lack of mention of AMOLED. The new Galaxy Book 4 Edge retains a full-size keyboard, battery, and a selection of ports, similar to the 16-inch model.
Samsung said that sales of the new laptop will begin in October in France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, the UK and the US. The price will be announced closer to the start date of pre-orders.
