ASUS ROG Ally, Steam Deck and Lenovo Legion Go competitor: Acer has unveiled the Nitro Blaze 7 gaming console

Acer has revealed a compact gaming console at IFA 2024.

Here's What We Know

The novelty is called Nitro Blaze 7. The device is a competitor of ASUS ROG Ally, Steam Deck and Lenovo Legion Go. The model is equipped with a 7-inch IPS-display with Full HD resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The screen also boasts a peak brightness of 500 nits. The device also supports AMD FreeSync Premium technology, which helps reduce screen tearing and stuttering.

The Nitro Blaze 7 is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor with 8 cores and Radeon 780M graphics. It is clocked up to 2.7GHz and has 12 processing units.

For storage, the Nitro Blaze 7 offers up to 2TB of M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x 4 Gen 4 SSD storage. The device is also equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. The new device has multiple physical buttons, D-pad, bumpers, triggers and shoulder buttons. Out of the box, the device runs Windows 11 operating system.
