Rumour: Nintendo Switch 2 will have backwards compatibility support for games that were released on the first Switch
Rumours about the Switch 2 are appearing more and more every week. For example, we wrote that Nintendo would present its new console in September. And now there is information about how games from the first Switch will work on the new console.
Here's What We Know
Insider Nate the Hate wrote in the Switch discussion on Reddit that Switch 2 has backwards compatibility with games that were released on Nintendo Switch, so you won't lose your library when you switch to a new console.
As a reminder, Chinese peripheral manufacturer Mobapad said that Switch 2 will support 1080p resolution, and its new dock will support 4K resolution. And the Joy-Cons will be larger and attached to it with magnets rather than sliding rail technology.
Now we are waiting for Nintendo to officially show and tell everything.
