Flashback
The JSM (Joint Strike Missile) is a precision cruise missile developed by the Norwegian company Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace for deployment on the F-35 Lightning II multi-role fighter. The JSM is an improved version of the NSM (Naval Strike Missile) and is designed to engage land and sea targets at long ranges.
The JSM has a range of more than 500 km and unique capabilities such as low radar signature and low altitude manoeuvring capability. It is equipped with a multifunctional homing head that utilises both infrared and radar sensors to ensure high guidance accuracy in active jamming environments.
