The organisers of the Golden Joystick Awards 2024 have announced the date of the event and revealed the start date of the user voting process

As sad as it is to realise, another year is drawing to a close. And it's not just the calendar that speaks about it, but also the approaching annual final shows that determine the best games of the year.

The organisers of Golden Joystick Awards 2024 have announced the date of their event and shared some important information.

Here's What We Know

The Golden Joystick Awards 2024 ceremony will take place on 21 November in London.

The event will be preceded by user voting, and the winners in some categories will be determined by a professional jury.

The list of contenders will be published on 4 October on the GamesRadar+ website and at the same moment the voting starts, in which everyone can participate.

Voting for the best game of the year will open on the 11th of November.

This time the organisers have expanded the list of nominations and added some interesting positions, such as Best Adaptation, Best Early Access and Best Indie Game by a Small Team.

  • "Breakthrough of the Year"
  • "Most Anticipated Game."
  • "Best Iron."
