Last month EcoFlow officially unveiled the Power Hat with solar panels. And now the novelty was shown live at IFA 2024.

Details

It is a 370g wide-brimmed hat with solar panels embedded in it. Thanks to this, the hat acts as a paverbank and is able to recharge smartphones and other mobile devices.

For this purpose, the hat has USB-A and USB-C ports, which provide charging with 12W of power. For example, a smartphone with a 4000 mAh battery will take several hours to charge.

The hat is designed for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts who spend a lot of time outdoors. Staying in the sun, the hat accumulates energy, after which it can recharge a dead gadget in the absence of electricity.

Journalists who tested the hat at IFA 2024 note that it is lightweight but looks unattractive.

The EcoFlow Power Hat is available in two sizes (56-58cm and 59-61cm) and costs $129.
