Even before Dragon's Dogma 2's March 2024 release, it was revealed from a leaked Capcom slide that DLC is in development, which will be called The Dragon Princess and will be released on 29 November.

It looks like the Japanese developer is indeed gearing up for the official announcement and release of the add-on for Dragon's Dogma 2.

Here's What We Know

According to the SteamDB database, Capcom recently updated the game's files and added several items that are labelled as "SteamDB Unknown Apps". Usually such files are discovered shortly before the official announcement of what they refer to.

It is noteworthy that the first such file was added to the database six months ago, indicating that the add-on has been in active development for at least six months.

It is likely that the addition The Dragon Princess will be presented at the Tokyo Game Show, which will be held from 26 to 29 September.

Recall, Dragon's Dogma 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The game has received high marks from experts, but gamers have severely criticised it because of poor optimisation and extensive opportunities for microtransactions, which, however, are not imposed by the developer and are not necessary for a comfortable passage. Besides, they are in all modern Capcom games and this fact did not embarrass gamers before.
