Huawei has scheduled a presentation on 10 September, where it will debut the first commercial smartphone that comes in three parts and folds into three - the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design. Although the event is still a few days away, the company has already opened up taking pre-orders.
Here's What We Know
Starting today, the Mate XT Ultimate Design can be pre-ordered on Chinese platform JD.com. At the same time, Huawei is keeping the price and detailed specifications a secret for now.
Available in 16/512GB and 16GB/1TB storage versions, as well as two colours - Ruihong and Xuanhei. The official launch of sales in China will take place on 20 September.
If rumours are to be believed, the Huawei foldable smartphone will be powered by the flagship Kirin 9000S processor. The device will also get a primary camera with at least three modules and a slim body. The smartphone will come with a proprietary operating system. The novelty is expected to cost around $2,000.
