Tecno introduces affordable MegaBook K16S laptop with Ryzen 5 processor

Tecno is expanding its MegaBook series with the new K16S laptop, which combines performance and affordability. The device is equipped with a Ryzen 5 7430U processor, which provides enough power for everyday tasks and light gaming.

Here's What We Know

The K16S has a metal body and is positioned as an ultra-portable laptop with extensive connectivity options, including OneLeap for wireless integration with other Tecno devices. The device also supports Microsoft Copilot for Windows-based generative artificial intelligence.

The device is equipped with a cooling system with a large fan to help avoid slowdowns during operation.

The laptop has 2.5W speakers with DTS support, a 2MP webcam, and a microphone that picks up voice at a distance of up to 5 metres. A 70Wh battery provides long battery life, and a fingerprint reader is integrated into the power button.

Specifications include up to 32GB of RAM and an SSD storage capacity of up to 1TB. The price and release date have not yet been announced.
