Yesterday the editor of GTABase portal under the nickname Liam shared "exclusive" information, according to which the release of GTA VI will not take place in 2025, as promised by the developers from Rockstar Games, and the PC-version of the much-anticipated game may be delayed until 2028.

Of course, this news has managed to upset those who are eagerly awaiting the continuation of the cult franchise, but we will hasten to reassure them.

Here's What We Know

The Rockstar Universe publisher, which regularly shares news about the famous studio's games and has not been seen spreading fakes, reported that Liam's information is not true.

At the moment, there are no indicators that the release of GTA VI will be postponed. Moreover, in a recent conversation with investors, representatives of Take-Two confidently said that the game will be released in autumn 2025, and if the management decided (planned) to postpone the release of the game, it would be obliged to inform investors about it, as it was done, for example, in 2021.

As Jason Schreier noted earlier, any game can be delayed, and GTA VI is no exception, but Rockstar Games is currently on track.
