Last week Larian Studios released the seventh major update for the role-playing game Baldur's Gate III, which is available only on PC for now.

The developers fixed a thousand bugs, added an additional "evil" ending and launched the official toolkit for creating, distributing and installing custom modifications, which on the first day showed a huge interest of gamers.

Belgian developers have repeatedly stated that they plan to finish working with Baldurʼs Gate franchise and focus on developing two projects of their own, but this time has not come yet.

Here's What We Know

Larian Studios' head of publishing Michael Dowse confirmed that the seventh patch is not the final patch and does not put an end to support for Baldurʼs Gate 3.

He did not share the studio's specific plans for further development of the game, but reminded that fans are still waiting for the addition of full photo mode and crossplay between all platforms.

Perhaps, Larian Studios is preparing some more surprises for the fans of the RPG, which has become a cult game in just one year.

Baldurʼs Gate 3 is available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
