Apple has announced an update to its Apple Watch Ultra 2 smartwatch, which is now available in a new 'satin black' colour. This is the first time Apple has offered the Watch Ultra in multiple colours since its launch two years ago.

Here's What We Know

The new product also features sleep apnoea detection, which uses the watch's accelerometer to determine whether a sleeper has signs of apnoea. The new Apple Watch Series 10 and Series 9 will also be able to use this feature.

In addition, Apple has announced a new titanium Milanese Loop, which costs $799 and is available for pre-order. The new accessories will be released on 20 September.

Apple Watch Ultra 2 will receive the watchOS 11 update, which includes new Smart Stack widgets for displaying real-time activity, as well as new features for tracking health status. In particular, you can now track your training load and use the Vitals app to check your key health indicators.

The Apple Watch Ultra was introduced in 2022 as a significant design update to Apple's smartwatch with a larger screen and thicker body. Last year, the model received a brighter screen and a new S9 chip. Although this year's changes may be minor, the Watch Ultra continues to be the flagship model for active users who value durability and a bright screen.
