Apple has announced the launch of the Apple Intelligence beta in October along with the iOS 18.1 update. Initially, the new features will be available only to English-speaking users in the United States.

Here's What We Know

Apple plans to expand Apple Intelligence support to other languages over time. In December, the company will add support for English dialects for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK. In 2025, new languages will be added, including Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish.

After the launch, Apple Intelligence will be available for free for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, and iPhone 16 Pro users, as well as for Mac or iPad users with an M1 processor or later.

Apple has not officially confirmed which parts of Apple Intelligence will be launched. Starting in October, it is expected to include features for notifications, email, Reduce Interference mode, and image editing capabilities in photos.

Rumours suggest that image generation features such as Genmoji and Image Playgrounds may arrive in December.
