We wrote that on 4 September, Warner Bros. showed a trailer for the film adaptation of Minecraft starring Black Jack. However, the trailer was immediately massively criticised and drowned in dislikes. And this trend does not stop.

Here's What We Know

The trailer currently has 631 thousand likes and 1,426,392 dislikes on YouTube. In the comments, people say that it looks like an April Fools' joke, not a full-fledged film with a big budget. Another popular opinion is that the filmmakers should have just made a high-quality CGI film, as they did with Sonic the Hedgehog, rather than a mixture of graphics and real actors, because it looks too cheap.

It's unlikely that the film will get high marks, but there are chances for good box office receipts due to the fact that Minecraft is one of the most popular games in the history of mankind.

When We Can Expect It

The Minecraft film will premiere on 4 April.
