V Publishing and Bad Ridge Games studio have postponed the release of the medieval world simulator Mirthwood.

Here's What We Know

The cute and complex game Mirthwood was supposed to be released on the 11th of September, but the developers decided to postpone the release to the 6th of November. This step is caused by the desire of game designers to release the highest quality project, and for this they need a little more time.

One of the game's developers Daron Otis commented on Bad Ridge Games' decision:

We want Mirthwood to be at its best from day one. As a small and enthusiastic team we have worked tirelessly to create a world that players will love, but we felt that some key aspects such as performance, localisation and various systems needed tweaking and extra attention before launch.

As a reminder, Mirthwood is a life simulator in which the protagonist is forced to leave his home and go in search of a better life on another continent. Players will have to build a dwelling, set up a settlement, hunt, grow crops, take care of pets and trade with neighbours.

Unfortunately, not all problems can be solved in peace, so sometimes you will have to defend your possessions from bandits and werewolves.

The protagonist needs to take care of food, safety, seasonal clothing and resist natural disasters and diseases.

The release of Mirthwood is so far announced only on PC (Steam). The developers promise to adapt the game for Steam Deck.

Everyone can check out the demo of the game on Steam.
