Arkansas expansion for American Truck Simulator to be released next week

If you are an active player or just a fan of American Truck Simulator, then we have good news for you - the next Arkansas expansion will be released soon, on 16 September to be exact.

Here's What We Know

As the name implies, this expansion adds the beautiful and diverse state of Arkansas to the game, bringing the total number of available US states to 16. Iowa and Missouri are already in development, and North and South Dakota, Minnesota, and Louisiana are likely candidates for future updates.

Ahead of the Arkansas release, a major update (version 1.51) introduces several new features. These include a redesigned title screen, realistic truck interior shadows, improved dynamic loading and unloading of grain trailers, and improved controller support.

Updated controller capabilities provide greater flexibility and control, perhaps hinting at future console ports.
