Google continues to improve its Google Play app shop and this time the company is testing a new interface for installing apps.

Here's What We Know

The new design was discovered by experts from Android Authority while parsing an app's APK file. In the new interface, the app to be installed is placed at the top of the page and the cancel button is on the right side. Below the cancellation button, there is a toggle to automatically open the app after installing it. A new section has also been added that lists other devices compatible with the app, with an install button for each.

These changes were spotted shortly after Android Authority revealed another setting that hides the navigation bar when scrolling down.

The new interface is expected to be implemented in a future Google Play update, although the exact timeline is still unknown.
