The weather in the Galaxy will change dramatically: a major DLC Cosmic Storms has been released for the popular 4X strategy game Stellaris

Paradox Interactive has released another major update for the popular space 4X-strategy Stellaris.

Cosmic Storms update is already available for purchase for everyone, and the owners of Expansion Pass of the eighth season will get it automatically.

The patch significantly changes the mechanics of space storms and makes them more diverse, interesting and visually beautiful.

There are eight new types of storms in the game and each of them affects the player's actions and abilities in its own way. Thus, a strong storm can cause a serious earthquake on one of the planets, as a result of which valuable minerals or lost treasures will rise to the surface.

In Stellaris added several mechanics related to weather, for example, there are objects that increase the probability of a space storm or, conversely, reduce it.

The DLC also offers new storylines, interesting starting conditions, unpredictable events, several additional Origins and much more. You can find all the details of Cosmic Storms on the game's official website or on Steam.
