People have started buying disc drives in droves ahead of the PlayStation 5 Pro release: some stores have already sold out

After the presentation of the PlayStation 5 Pro, it became clear that the console would be sold without a disc drive and would have to be purchased separately. You wondered how many people would buy it. So many that it's hard to find one now.

The disc drive ranks 8th on Amazon's bestseller list for video games. On the Best Buy website, it's already sold out. Except that on the PS Direct website, it is still available for $80.

Therefore, people decided to prepare in advance for the upgrade to the Pro version, as the pre-order of the console starts on 26 September, and it will go on sale on 7 November.
