Acer Predator X49 V: a new QD-OLED gaming monitor from Samsung for $1600

Acer has unveiled the new Predator X49 V gaming monitor with a 48.9-inch QD-OLED panel from Samsung Display.

Technical Characteristics

The QD-OLED panel delivers a high-quality image with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate.

The model supports AMD FreeSync Premium, has a response time of just 0.03ms, a peak brightness of 1000 nits, and supports HDR10 and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. For rich sound, the monitor is equipped with two 5W speakers in stereo configuration.

The Acer Predator X49 V offers a wide range of connectivity options, including two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, one 90W USB Type-C port, two USB Type-A ports, one USB Type-B port and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The monitor also has an adjustable height and tilt stand, and supports picture-in-picture, picture-in-picture, and KVM switching.

The price of Acer Predator X49 V is $1600. The company has not announced the date of the start of sales.
