Vertigo Games studio Vertigo Games has unveiled a gameplay trailer for the remake of zombie action game Arizona Sunshine, which was released in 2017 and was one of the first comprehensive and story-driven VR games.

Here's What We Know

In Arizona Sunshine Remake, the developers will offer significantly improved graphics, increased texture quality, an expanded story campaign, an improved combat system, full co-op support, and tweaked zombie dismemberment mechanics.

The updated game will include all of the original content, including the Deadman and Cursed story campaigns, as well as the Old Mine, Trailer Park, and Valley of the Undead updates.

The developers have expanded some gameplay mechanics and added a number of features from Arizona Sunshine 2 to enrich the gameplay and offer users of modern VR headsets an immersive experience.

Due to the lack of development of virtual reality technology at the time of the original game's release, Arizona Sunshine didn't get much popularity, but the remake has every chance to rectify this and bring the game to the public's attention.

When We Can Expect It

Arizona Sunshine Remake will release on 17 October on PlayStation VR2, Steam VR and Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3.

Pre-orders are available on all of the above platforms (there is a 10% discount on the PlayStation Store).
