Huawei Watch GT 5: new renders show updated design and more than 100 sports modes
New details about the Huawei Watch GT 5, which is due to be unveiled on 19 September, have become available thanks to recent leaks. The secrets of the upcoming smartwatch are known, including the new TruSense technology and the updated Health Glance feature.
Here's What We Know
The watch will be released in two sizes: 41 mm and 46 mm, with a starting price of approximately 250 euros.
Huawei plans to present the Watch GT 5 at the Barcelona Product Innovation Event. The novelty retains the design elements of its predecessor, but has received several important updates. Both models will have a rotating crown and an additional programmable button, as previously expected. The visuals are in line with the promotional materials released by Huawei earlier this month.
One of the key new features will be TruSense technology, which is an improvement on the TruSeen 5.5 system from Watch GT 4. It will provide faster and more accurate monitoring of key health indicators, such as heart rate, blood oxygen saturation and body temperature. The Health Glance feature will allow you to check more than 10 health indicators, including ECG and arterial stiffness in just 60 seconds.
Huawei Watch GT 5 will also feature more than 100 sports modes and improved GPS for tracking physical activity. The battery of the 41 mm version will provide up to 7 days of operation on a single charge, and the 46 mm model - up to 14 days. The exact battery capacity has not yet been disclosed.
The official announcement of the watch and the exact price will be announced at the presentation on 19 September.
