Meta Quest 3S will get a new action button to quickly switch between modes

Meta is preparing to announce a new virtual reality headset, Meta Quest 3S, and details about its functionality have recently emerged. The official support page has revealed that the new product will receive a special action button that will facilitate switching between skip mode and full immersion in VR.

According to the information, the action button will be located in the lower right corner of the headset and will provide easy access to important functions without the need to use old methods, such as double-tapping the sides of the headset, which often prove to be unreliable.

In addition, the new headset will have two types of status indicators - normal and third-party. These details also confirm that the new headset will be called Meta Quest 3S.

Meta is expected to unveil Quest 3S at the Meta Connect conference, which will take place from 23 to 26 September.

The headset should replace the outdated Meta Quest 2 and offer some new features similar to the Quest 3, such as a Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor and colour reproduction support.
