Palworld's developer, Pocketpair, has confirmed that the game will remain a one-time purchase and will not be moving to a free-to-play or live-service model. This clarification addresses recent fan concerns following an interview with Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe, where he suggested that the game may move to a live service in the future.

Here's What We Know

The developer has stated that while they are exploring ways to ensure the longevity and growth of Palworld, they have decided to abandon the free-to-play or game-as-a-service model as it does not fit the game design and player expectations.

They are still considering future options such as skins and downloadable content to support development, but for now they are focused on improving the gameplay and content of Palworld.

Where To Play

Palworld is available to play on Xbox Series and Windows.
