As it recently became known, Vivo will hold a presentation of X200 series smartphones on the new flagship chip MediaTek Dimensity 9400 already on the 14th of October. But the announcement date of the chip itself has not been officially announced yet. However, a well-known Digital Chat Station insider has lifted the veil of secrecy.

Here's What We Know

According to the leak from Digital Chat Station, the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 flagship chipset will be unveiled on 9 October 2024. This chipset will be the first to utilise TSMC's 3nm N3E process, which should offer up to 30% better power efficiency compared to the previous generation.

The Dimensity 9400 will feature an 8-core processor with a high-performance Cortex-X5 core clocked at 3.63GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores clocked at 2.80GHz and four Cortex-A725 cores clocked at 2.10GHz. The Immortalis G9xx GPU is expected to deliver 110fps in the GFXBench Aztec Ruins test at 1440p resolution, an 11.1 per cent improvement over the previous generation.
