Two prologues, focus on Lucy and RDR 2 mechanics: insider shares interesting GTA VI details
Since Rockstar Games does not reveal absolutely no details about GTA VI, the network regularly appears a huge amount of insider information of varying degrees of plausibility.
So, recently there was a rumour about postponing the release of the most expected game to 2026, but it was denied by several authoritative sources.
Insider under the nickname LegacyKillaHD claims to have received interesting information about the plot and general concept of GTA VI, and hastened to share it.
Here's What We Know
In a series of posts on X, LegacyKillaHD has revealed that GTA 6's storyline will centre on Lucia rather than Jason. At the same time, both Lucy and Jason will have individual prologues, in which players will not only be introduced to the basic mechanics of GTA 6, but also show the history of meeting the characters. They are both the main characters, but it is the girl who will be the basis of the story and the initiator of all criminal cases. By the way, the couple is just beginning to get acquainted with the underworld and does not have much experience in robberies and other illegal affairs.
LegacyKillaHD claims that many elements of the game's plot are inspired by the Fast & Furious films, so there will be a lot of spectacularly staged races in the new part of GTA.
The game will feature corrupt authorities, Russian mafia and other invariable attributes of crime action games, and gameplay uses many mechanics from Red Dead Redemption 2. By the way, in GTA VI the story will be somewhat shorter than in RDR2 (in the western it took about 50 hours).
Some of the theses voiced by LegacyKillaHD have been heard before, for example, about high immersiveness of GTA VI at the expense of RDR2 mechanics, but it's impossible to say what of all the voiced will be true.
When We Can Expect It
GTA VI is expected to release in autumn 2025 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
