In a detailed trailer, Bethesda revealed the main features of the Shattered Space add-on for Starfield

On the 30th of September the Shattered Space add-on for the space role-playing game Starfield will be released, but only now the developers from Bethesda presented its detailed trailer.

Here's What We Know

The company released a 9-minute Deep Dive, in which viewers were reminded that the events of Shattered Space are fully dedicated to the most mysterious faction of the world of Starfield - House Va'ruun.

Players will go to the planet Va'ruunʼkai and will find out the causes of man-made disaster, which occurred when scientists tore a hole in the fabric of the Universe and formed the so-called Vortex, which is not safe to get close to.

The events of the add-on unfold only on the planet Vaʼruunʼkai, but if you wish, you can leave it at any time and return to the fulfilment of tasks later.

The main twists and turns of the game will take place in the city of Dazra, which is the capital of Vaʼruunʼkai, but there will be something to do outside of it as well. The developers will make the planet unlike anything previously seen in Starfield and will fill it with more than fifty locations, in which players will find many surprises.

In general, it feels that Bethesda wanted to add to Shattered Space the atmosphere of space horror with science fiction elements, but how much they managed to do - we'll find out on the 30th of September.

The game is available on PC and Xbox Series, and is also available in the Game Pass catalogue
