Galaxy A52s receives September security update in Europe

Galaxy A52s is receiving a new security update in September 2024. This update, which has build number A528BXXS9GXH2, is currently available for users in Europe.

Here's What We Know

While the new update does not bring One UI 6.1.1, it does include the latest security patches, improving the stability and reliability of the Galaxy A52 series. Galaxy A52 and A52 5G models may receive this update later this week.

It is not known whether Samsung plans to roll out One UI 6.1.1 to the Galaxy A52, A52 5G or A52s. Since mid-range Galaxy phones do not have access to Galaxy AI, it is likely that they will receive One UI 6.1.1 features without AI integration, along with Android 15 and One UI 7.0.

So far, none of the Galaxy A52 models support Android 15 and One UI 7.0. It is hoped that Samsung will provide One UI 6.1.1 as the last update before restricting the A52 range to security updates.
