For Baldur's Gate 3, people have already started creating their own story campaigns thanks to the mod manager

With the 7th major update for Baldurs' Gate 3, Larian has added an official toolkit for creating mods. However, the studio announced that it would not be possible to create individual levels, but enthusiasts had only a couple of days to unlock this feature and start creating their own levels.

Here's What We Know

On Reddit , one user shared screenshots of his map for BG3 with a castle by the sea. In addition to these images, he also shared a video of the hero walking around the location.

He also wrote that the unlocked editor is very promising for creating custom campaigns.

So, if there are people who are willing to spend their time creating their own campaigns, then Baldur's Gate 3 will turn into an eternal game with new content.
